Allira joined the MNC team in 2008. She completed her Master of Sport & Exercise Psychology at The University of Queensland. She is dedicated to providing ‘solutions for optimistic thinking’, specifically focusing on the psychological needs of people involved in sport in different capacities and at different levels.

Allira consults to those who are high achievers, involved in high stress/pressure jobs (e.g., CEOs, small business owners), gifted students, and elite athletes or performing artists; all who often display perfectionist tendencies.  Allira provides services for athletes of various ages, ability levels, and sports. She has supported and guided clients on issues such as motivation, burn-out, recovery, time management, performance anxiety, goal-setting, performance routines, activation and relaxation, and drug and alcohol-related issues. Additionally, Allira provides services for clients who can benefit from pain and injury management, anger management, treatment for moderate depression and anxiety, treatment for eating disorders or disordered eating, and stress management. Her work includes individual consultations, workshops and presentations.

Specialties:

Allira’s specialty sports are swimming, netball and rugby league, however she has experience in working with sports such as tennis, motocross, equestrian, baseball, softball, triathlon and kyoshin fighting. Allira has a special interest in the identification and development of mental toughness in sport performance.
